| Human Trafficking Prevention Submitted by: Kyle Owen | Hello, my name is Kyle Owen and I am a student at William Jessup University. I am conducting a survey of churches in the greater Sacramento area to gage awareness and involvement in the fight against child sex trafficking in the Sacramento region. Below you will find the purpose and target statements for this survey and a brief list of survey questions. All responses will remain anonymous and will only be used toward the collective tabulation of survey responses. Your participation in this study is greatly appreciated and will aid the efforts of a very worthy cause. Purpose: The purpose of this survey is to acquire primary source information regarding local church awareness of the problem of child sex trafficking in the greater Sacramento region. To date, statistics regarding local church awareness and participation in trafficking prevention are not readily available. The information compiled through this brief survey will aid in efforts of local trafficking prevention organizations to identify underutilized areas in the local church community so that anti-trafficking efforts might continue to grow. Target: These survey questions are intended for local pastors and church leaders who have influence over, or understanding of, their church’s involvement in anti-trafficking activities. Questions: 1. Are you personally aware of the global epidemic of sex trafficking of children? 2. In aggregate, is your congregation aware of the global problem of sex trafficking of children? 3. If answered yes to question #2, what efforts are being done at your church to support the global fight against sex trafficking of children? 4. Are you personally aware of the local (Sacramento region) problem of sex trafficking of children? 5. In aggregate, is your congregation aware of the local (Sacramento region) problem of sex trafficking of children? 6. If answered yes to question #5, what efforts are being done at your church to support the local (Sacramento region) fight against sex trafficking of children? 7. If answered no to any of the above questions, would you, or your congregation, be willing to participate in efforts to prevent the sexual trafficking of children? | PRAY for TRUST and FAITH in GOD\'s PLAN Submitted by: Abby Lockett | Dear brothers and sisters in the lord, please pray that God will increase my faith and continue to guide my husband and me. My husband and I are anglican Christians who worship and live in Saint Louis, MO. Our families live in Lincoln and Sacramento, and God is making it clear that we are to move to be with them. We both have good jobs in Saint Louis and no jobs waiting for us yet in California, yet we believe God wants us to move this summer. I have applications in at a couple of community colleges. Please pray that God provides a way for us to come back to the area to be with our families. We really need jobs. We have student loans and other obligations. I desire to follow God\'s leading, but my faith is weak. I know that God can do anything. That He can move MOUNTAINS, so He can certainly provide jobs in California even in a poor economy.
